Iran says the Strait of Hormuz is now open to commercial shipping, offering a potential break in one of the most critical disruptions to the global economy.

In a Truth Social post, President Donald Trump said the Strait of Hormuz is "ready for full passage" after Iran announced the strait was fully open.
