IRAN: President Trump says Tehran agreed to return the enriched uranium buried under the rubble of facilities struck by B-2 bombers, and claimed Iran may be ready to give up its nuclear weapons ambitions. The American naval blockade on Iran is tightening. The report says more than 10,000 U.S. troops, 12 warships, and more than 100 aircraft are enforcing the maritime siege, while multiple ships have already been turned back and no vessel has successfully broken the blockade so far. At the same time, Iran is reporting massive economic damage and growing internal strain.

LEBANON: A ceasefire in Lebanon took effect last night, but within hours Hezbollah reportedly violated it with fire toward Israel. Just before the ceasefire began, the IDF said the Israeli Air Force struck more than 380 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon in the previous 24 hours. Yair also shows the devastation in Beirut’s Dahieh district and explains why Israeli officials currently support the ceasefire framework.

The ceasefire in Lebanon is being used as an American pressure tool against Iran, as Washington pushes Tehran toward negotiations over the nuclear file and the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Europe is discussing naval mine-clearing and escort capabilities to help secure safe passage through Hormuz without taking on an offensive role.
