A viral video showed a man sliding down a slide nearly 200 feet long, launching off the end, soaring through the air, and landing safely in a small paddling pool below, and Adam and Jamie decided the only way to know if it was real was to build the entire thing themselves, constructing a full-scale version of the slide right next to a man-made lake so they could land safely if anything went sideways, running small-scale tests with scaled-down dummies first to determine whether the physics were even in the realm of possibility, and then taking turns riding the real thing themselves at increasing speeds to measure exactly how far a human body actually travels off the end of that slide, because some questions can only be answered by two grown men voluntarily flying off a ramp at speed.
