Kyiv's Pechersk Lavra monastery was set ablaze after Russia's latest attack, which killed four and injured 23 according to Tymur Tkachenko, the head of the capital's military administration.
The monastery, founded in 1051, is a UNESCO world heritage site located in the center of the city.
This was the most aggressive attack from Russia since early June, leaving 140,000 residents without power.
