Iranian state television says Tehran has rejected an American 15-point ceasefire plan. The Iranian regime has instead offered a counterproposal, which includes recognising Iranian sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz and reparations for the war that the US started alongside Israel. The White House says talks are continuing and describes them as 'productive', while threatening Tehran that it will up the ante if it does not accept defeat.
