The Garden Bites Back is a full instrumental psychedelic jazz-funk album inspired by Venus flytraps and the hidden intelligence of carnivorous plants. Electric bass, clavinet, baritone saxophone, bass trombone, alto flute, wah guitar, acoustic drums and tropical percussion move through a repeating cycle of attraction, detection, sudden closure and uneasy rebirth.

The music begins playful and seductive, but gradually reveals something stranger beneath the leaves. Expect elastic basslines, angular brass, snapping rhythmic breaks, botanical psychedelia and grooves that feel alive enough to hunt.
