Professor John Mearsheimer delivers a sharply critical assessment of Donald Trump’s Middle East policy, focusing on the Iran war, Gaza and the US-Israel relationship.

In his keynote address at the Arab Center’s Eleventh Annual Conference, Mearsheimer argues that Trump was “bamboozled” into going to war with Iran and questions why the US president proceeded despite concerns from American officials about the risks of the strategy.
