This is pretty much peak 4x strategy gaming and it is by far the best way of learning the joys of strategy games. Now with all that in mind I decided to do a seemingly impossible challenge inside of civ 6 today. The No Production Challenge. The setup is simple, win a game of civ 6 without ever using production. That means no building anything or training any units. If we want it we have to buy it with gold or faith. Already this adds an insane amount of issues that are not made easier when you also have to add in a bunch of AI opponents that have no such limitation or challenge!
