I’m a 40 year old beginner artist and I can't finish a sketchbook to save my life! This video is every failed attempt at starting since 2021. I chat about the reasons I quit, attempts at draw a box, cartoons, watercolour, and how horrendous art and a well timed qoute finally changed my mind set. It’s not the polished perfect sketchbook tours you usually see. It’s a cycle of getting excited, buying shiny new supplies (because this time it WILL be different), then feeling intimidated, and eventually abandoning the sketchbook to do it all over again. Perfectionism, burnout, boredom, I've got all the excuses but it's time to just shut up and crack on with it tbh.

🎨 Update 9th Oct: I FINISHED THE NEW SKETCHBOOK! I'm filming the tour this week, subscribe to see it!
