What if the most famous song from Titanic was never supposed to exist?
Before “My Heart Will Go On” became one of the biggest movie songs of all time, James Cameron didn’t want a pop ballad in the film. Céline Dion didn’t want to record another soundtrack song. And the vocal performance the world knows today began as a simple demo.
A piano sketch.
A one-take vocal.
A song almost left out of Titanic.
And somehow, it became an Oscar-winning classic.
This is the story of how “My Heart Will Go On” went from an unwanted demo to the emotional voice of one of the biggest films in history.
This was Behind the Track, where every song has its story.
