As an artist myself, I've been thinking a lot about why some people feel entitled to police who can draw certain characters, how they represent themselves and what they're "allowed" to create based on their race.
What happened to Thumin in particular made me think about this.
Have you ever experienced racism or discrimination in an art community? Or have you seen another artist being treated differently because of their race?
I'd love to hear your experiences and perspectives in the comments.
