Christopher Harborne, a Thailand-based cryptocurrency investor, handed Nigel Farage a seven-figure sum to fund his security in 2024, before he re-entered politics.
Mr Harborne is understood to have separately given Mr Farage a gift of around £5 million, according to The Telegraph. James O’Brien believes coverage of this has ‘barely been mentioned’.
However, James points out the contrast to when Keir Starmer came under fire in September 2024 after accepting work clothing donations worth £16,200, and multiple pairs of glasses, to the value of £2,485 from prominent Labour donor Lord Alli.
