2006! Sidekicks and MySpace Top 8 was all the rave in this year! 2006 was the perfect middle where R&B and Pop began to crossover. Chris Brown continued to introduce himself to the world, Ne-Yo was writing hits for everyone and including himself. Beyonce had everyone sing "to the left, to the left" with Irreplaceable. Before Rihanna became a MEGA star, she had a huge year with Pop hits. Justin Timberlake redefined Pop with SexyBack and Nelly Furtado teamed up with Timbaland for "Promiscuous". 2006 gave us anthems from Shakira "Hips Don't Lie" and solo Fergie with "London Bridge".
