I haven’t seen Jezza for a while so I was slightly apprehensive but when the big man offered us a table at the Pub it seemed like the perfect destination for my first drive in the XJ220.
The car has been busy getting re-commissioned, all the belts and anything made of rubber has been replaced – and the paintwork got a full makeover of ceramic protection to see off any gremlins.. however nothing had prepared me for the onslaught of potholes and roadworks from what was previously my favourite route across the Cotswolds.
Fortunately I had my pesky navigator, Mike Fernie, to hand..
