US President Donald Trump has announced a ban on CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House, accusing the outlets of what he called “fake news” and unfavorable coverage of his administration. Trump also indicated that other media organisations could face similar restrictions.

The move was followed by the White House denying access to journalists from the three outlets on September 19. The organisations have defended their reporting and raised First Amendment concerns, while the White House media access dispute could face further legal scrutiny.
