Not too long ago we saw the release of the LAIKA stop motion film Wildwood and I have to say that it was an incredible watch. It’s not often you go to a film and witness true game changing work but this is it. It pushes stop motion animation further than it has ever gone before and is almost certainly the best film that LAIKA has ever made. It pretty much fires on all cylinders and so I am really eager to start talking about it today. My only real issue is that it is surely going to flop which sucks because I think that it deserves so much more than that. Today I’m going to talk about why, so here it is. My Wildwood review and analysis. Enjoy!
