directed, filmed and edited by Georges Degoumois

George's statement: "Our intention with this video was first and foremost to capture how immigrants, specifically with an Arab or Muslim background, are feeling in the face of Germany's rising ethno-nationalism. It has been painful to hear how many of these people are being given the feeling that they are not as German as everybody else.

But we also felt obliged to look at the issue fairly and not downplay any negative effects mass immigration has had in Germany. Hence, we have included a section addressing German's crime rate and how it correlates with the arrival of immigrants. As we are not able to treat the topic with more detail than we did, we would like to leave you the sources we have relied on and encourage you to read them in your own accord. Specifically the essay written by Philipp Daum has been illuminating and provides, in our opinion, one of the most unbiased and comprehensive views on the matter.

At last, we would like to clairfy that we are no experts on the matter and are grateful for any input to expand our understanding of Germany.

Thank you for watching."
