The Sightron SJH-75UF is a 75mm f/5 full-frame astrophotography refractor that claims diffraction-limited performance across a 44mm image circle. That sounds almost too good to be true, so I tested it with a ZWO ASI6200MM / Sony IMX455 and a 2x drizzle integration on M13 to see how sharp this telescope really is.
In this review, I look at the Sightron SJH-75UF as a real imaging telescope, not just a spec sheet. We go through the hardware, the focuser, the 6-element optical design, the full-frame image circle, the spot diagram, the Airy disk, Strehl ratio, sampling limits, and the real-world images I captured with it.
