For over 6 years (!?) now, I've been trying to bring the abandoned mining town of Cerro Gordo back to life. And this past month or so, has been as busy and...unique as ever.

I had to resort to explosives to free a stuck drill pipe, we finally got moving again on the rebuilding of the American Hotel, I searched all of the Union Mine to find names lost to time, we attempted finding lost gravesites using ground-penetrating-radar, completed our Wilderness First Responder course, and even hosting my first wedding here!

It was a beautiful stretch of time up here and as strange as always. I very much appreciate you all following along and the support for the town!
