Signalis tells of the love that Replika LSTR and Gestalt Ariane Yeong have for each other. Flying out of the solar system on the Penrose 512 scout ship, they live out their lives happily together.

One day LSTR finds herself on the crash landed Penrose ship, on the surface of a cold, unknown planet. She can't find Ariane. She leaves the ship, finds a stone door way, leading to a borehold. Descending into the surface of the planet, LSTR desceds into a journey of madness, where space, time and reality will blur together, as she learns the history of Ariane, and the Gestalt she is copied from.

Spoiler warning for Signalis endings, since it's a signalis lore and story walkthrough

LSTR will descend into the mining facility of Sierpinski S-52 on the far remote planet of Leng. She'll descend deeper and deeper into the mind in the search for Ariane. What would she find at the bottom? What is behind the stone gate she has been seeing in visions? Is there some eldritch ancient horror at the bottom that is distorting reality.

Entering the facility LSTR find the replikas all corrupted and violent. She would have to fight her way past this otherwordly corruption to find Ariane. A disease or virus has devastated the facility and corrupted all the replicas, making this a dangerous expedition.

The Synthetic replicas are a big part of the world of Signalis, so we'll be going over the overview of all of the replicas, ADA, EULE, STAR, SCTR, ADLR, FALK and MYRAH.
