Jack grew up in a Bronx tenement with no room for a piano and no money for lessons. The music that grabbed him was at camp, where everyone sang along to a guitar.

Years later, he wanted to play piano the same way: chords, sing-alongs, and sharing the fun with other people. He joined Ready to Play in June, and he's already started a piano club at his senior center.

I usually share lessons here, but I wanted you to meet him. Hearing about the club made me so happy. If you're learning later in life, or wondering where playing piano might take you, I hope his story gives you some encouragement.

Thanks for sharing your story, Jack.
